FEEL VERY EXCITED TODAY!!

What can I say I am so excited today!I just read a great review about our hotel, it was so good! So far  the reviews have been very good, and it just makes me antsy! I just cant wait to be there and just relax! I can not wait to be at the adult pool, with Carrie, and toast to our friendship! No kids, no housework, no men! Sounds lovely doesnt it!!!!!!  51 days!!!

Where did that week go?

Wow a week since I have been on here. I guess being away , in Vegas, for 4 days, is a good excuse. It was a fun time, but really made me think about the 2 days, we will spend there , on our way back from St. Lucia. I kinda wish we had three nights. There is so much to do and it is so much fun! we are going to have so much fun, in Vegas, I dont care if we are exhausted! We are going to have to stay awake and enjoy all 48 hours!!! I am getting super excited about the entire trip. I do think it will be a trip of a lifetime, and who knows when we will do it again! Only 54 days more!! YAHOO!!!!!!!!!! VIVA LAS VEGAS!!!

Let The Games Begin!

I watched the opening ceremonies, last night, and it was emotional to see a country as one. You can see the pride and feel the enthusiasm, of Canadian people! I thought the choices, for carrying the flag, was very appropriate. The torch was lit, by Wayne Gretzky, an easy choice, but not really a hero? I was hoping for someone, who really has been a pillar in Canadian history. But it was still great to see him light the cauldron. I hope we do well, as we do have the second largest amount of athletes, at the game, so we have good odds. It was very sad, to have lost an athlete, on opening day, that country's, athletes, have a tough next few weeks, to get through.

Go Canada and lets get our first gold medal on Canadian Soil!!!!!!

My thought today is on WRINKLES!

Ya wrinkles,,,, why do we have to get them.. I know if you look at your family, then you will probably have a pretty good idea what you will look like in the future. For me, my mom has really good skin, and will be 70 , in a week. My Dad, though, was the sun worshipper, and has had some precancerous scares, and is what I would say, wrinkly. I have had deep wrinkles, since I can remember, so I am pretty sure, I will look like a sharpei by the time I am 70. I am much better about not staying in the sun, as long, and every day I use an spf 15 or 30 in my moisterizer. I have never had any luck with my skin, always something on it, so I think I am doomed in many ways. I think I must have been dreaming about skin last night, cuz its 7:30 AM and I am writing about wrinkles. I did read something once though, that I am trying to live by but its hard. It said something like, wrinkles are beautiful, they are the map to your life, grow old gracefully, and when you look at your face remember how you got there, by tracing your wrinkles.. Something like that....... So I do think about the circle of life, and that wrinkles, are a part of growing old, and maybe they are beautiful. That is not to say I am not afraid to erase a few, because there were a few years I would like to forget!!!! LOL

Under 70 days!!!

Yay!! Today is day 69! Now it doesn't seem that long away. Today , once again, it is freezing! The wind is blowing making it bitter cold, and its damp too. I really can not wait until I can wear shorts and sandals all day! Sometimes, I think 10 days will be too long to be away, then other times, I think it will go so fast, I will wish it was longer. I am going to savor every minute, it will be my motto!!!

Up To Date St. Lucia

Up early and its FREEZING here!

Where is the sun? I have been up early today and really wanted to see the sun. Its dark gloomy and making me feel depressed! Winter can be so long, here in Alberta, and it just makes you antsy! I am off to a boot camp class today, and I am sure I will be so sore I cant walk.. But I need these glutes to be in shape, because 74 days goes fast!!!! Actually I can not believe how time is flying, now only if I had some sunshine maybe it would seem even better!!!!!
