DAY 80.......

I have been waiting for DAY 80, because this is the day, I will be trying to lose 5 more pounds before we venture off. It takes me forever to lose a pound, so hopefully in 80 days I can have 5 more gone. I am also going to keep up with my new regime of, 2x a week at the gym, and 5 days of walking , and running ( running I will do only 1-2 times). I have found myself, not wanting to be at the gym, as much this past 6months, and have enjoyed other means of exercise. Ultimately my goal is to feel really great, and if the scale doesnt move, so be it! Like I said to Carrie, "what are we not going to go if we dont lose the weight?" Of course not... But I will give this an honest go!!! YOu with me Sista?

    I did the same on this past trip to Mexico - aimed for 10, lost 5 and was happy enough with that, it didn't change my flight dates!
    How has the running been going? I thought that you had to give it up - keep it up!! I have started again after 6 months, and it is so much tougher this time than after both pregnancies! must be the age! lol

  2. Oh Rox I barely run,, I mean I used to run 6 miles - 10 miles ..a time.. Now I do maybe 3-4 and thats 2 times a week if that. I am enjoying the walking way more, less stres son my body and I have maintained a 7 pound weight loss since October,,,,,, Walking is the way to go for us oldies LOL...

  3. So true! But sersiously Edie..there is a reason why you body makes it so hard for you to lose another pound. You are in great shape! Enjoy it! Listen to your body, continue to do what you are doing, as it IS working! and enjoy your trip! xo
